On 28th November 1913 "The Engineer" published a supplement devoted to the Great Northern Railway.

On December 6th 1892 "The Enginner" published a review of the Great Northern Railway (GNR) works at Doncaster.

Goodbye Engineer, RIP

There will be no more printed copies of “The Engineer”. That is no problem, because there will soon be no engineers left who could understand the contents and real engineers do not use the internet, just scotch tape and a rusty penknife. 

All that is left is an audience of historians and railway fanatics like me.

The London and North Western Railway and Crewe Works

The London and North Western Railway was featured by "The Engineer" in a supplement in December 1908.

The supplement has twenty pages about the works including some colour plates. The document is about 8 megabytes in size:
